Boat Trip from Venice to Murano & Burano Islands

Discover the islands of Murano and Burano with our boat trip from Venice. During this trip, you will discover the beauty of Venice and learn about its history. We have two starting points, you can choose which one better fits your needs. The boat will leave from Punta Sabbioni, then head to Venice to start the trip.

The first stop is the island of Murano, world-wide-famous as the home of blown glass. Here, the precious secrets of the ancient art of glassmaking are still guarded, handed down from generation to generation by master glassmakers. You will have the opportunity to stop at a historic factory to witness the magic of glass-blowing, an experience that lasts about 45 minutes.

Afterwards, we will head to the island of Burano, a 'colourful palette of colours'. This island, known for its fishermen and "tombolo" embroiderers, still offers a spectacle of mastery in lacework, made with the ancient tool of "tombolo". During this stop, you will visit a lace workshop and immerse yourself in the picturesque streets of the island for about 50 minutes, admiring its unique beauty.

Later, you will return to Venice and Punta Sabbioni.

Itinerary
We offer the possibility to chose from two starting points: Venice or Punta Sabbioni. When you book the trip, you can choose where you prefer to be embarked. Keep in mind, the boat will leave from Punta Sabbioni and then will head to Venice, so the starting time depends on which port you decide to leave from.

How to get there
You can choose to leave from Venice or Punta Sabbioni. The return will be at the same point from which you departed. Please be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure.
