Details
Come on board with us for an amazing boat trip to Murano, Burano, and Venice! You will spend the morning wandering around in the romantic streets of Venice, and the afternoon exploring the two colourful villages.
You can decide at what time to leave from Punta Sabbioni, depending on how long you wish to visit Venice. Once you arrive in the city, don't miss St. Mark's Square, the Rialto Bridge, and the Grand Canal. You can wander among picturesque streets and cross countless bridges until 1 pm, when it will be time to depart again and reach Murano. In 1291, the glassmakers of Venice had to move to Murano to prevent fires from breaking in the city, and they created a specialized district for glass production. During our one-hour visit to this island, you can visit a foundry and see a skilled craftsman at work.
Our last stop will be Burano, where colourful houses line up on the side of countless canals. This fishing village is famous for the ancient technique of lace-making, and while we navigate towards the island, our guide will tell you all about the history of Burano. You will then explore the village independently during a stop of 1 hour, enough time to visit the church of San Martino Vescovo and take a walk among the shops of Piazza Galuppi. At the end of the time allocated to visit Burano, our boat will take you back to Punta Sabbioni.
