What to expect

Beat the crowds on an early morning minivan and boat trip to Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves. On this 8-hour excursion, you will explore the island by both land and sea. Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation, followed by a drive to the Shipwreck Viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views. Next, you'll head to Porto Vromi and board a boat for a 3-hour trip. An experienced skipper will guide you to Shipwreck Beach to see the famous wreck up close. The boat tour continues to the Blue Caves for a swimming and snorkeling break in crystal-clear waters. You will also visit the secluded, pebbled shores of Sfogio Beach and see Poseidon's Face, a natural rock formation. Back on land, a traditional Greek lunch awaits at a mountain tavern in Anafonitria. The trip concludes in Exo Hora with a visit to a 2000-year-old olive tree and a tasting of local products.

Due to government regulations, it might not be possible to go on Shipwreck Beach. If this is the case, the boat will stop near the beach for photos, and a swimming stop will be made at another beach. You will have to walk for about 10 minutes on a stone path to reach the shipwreck viewpoint.
