What to Expect

Join us on one of our great barges for an amazing morning of discoveries along the Canal du Midi! Departing from Béziers, the journey will begin as we glide towards the impressive Orb Lock, where you can witness the fascinating mechanics of the lock system. Continuing along, we will pass under the historic Orb Aqueduct, a true must-see of the region.

Next, you will be able to see the majestic Saint-Nazaire Cathedral, an architectural gem that stands out against the skyline. Our route will then take us to the renowned Fonseranes Locks, a series of nine locks that are a masterpiece of engineering. Following this, we will traverse the picturesque Grand Bief, a long stretch of the canal, before reaching the quaint Rabote Cornes Bridge.

Our final destination will be the Port of Colombiers, where we will disembark before returning to Béziers by minibus (15 minutes). The barge itself is equipped with an air-conditioned indoor room, ensuring a comfortable experience regardless of the weather. How to Get There

We meet at the Quai du Port Neuf, in Béziers, at the booked time. If you come by car, you will find paid (during the week) and free (on weekends) car parks nearby. Upon arriving in Colombiers, we will disembark and return to Béziers by minibus (15 minutes).
