Embark on our boat trip to Fort Boyard from La Rochelle with a half-day stopover on Île d'Aix. This fascinating excursion begins at the old port of La Rochelle, where you can admire its famous towers while boarding one of our spacious and comfortable boats. As you leave the channel, you will pass the impressive port of Les Minimes and the Bout du Monde lighthouse, straight out of a Jules Verne book.

You will then head for the emblematic Fort Boyard, which will reveal its secrets thanks to the commentary provided during the trip. Then, after 1 hour at sea, you will disembark on the small island of Aix, on which you will spend between 2 and 5 hours. Horse-drawn carriage or bicycle rides, a visit to Fort Liédot or the Napoleon Museum, not forgetting its beaches and restaurants: you will have plenty of activities to choose from to discover this haven of peace and quiet where no cars are allowed. Once back on board, the crossing to La Rochelle will again take around 1 hour.

How to get there
We meet 30 minutes before departure at our pier in the old port of La Rochelle. If you are coming by car, there are paid car parks nearby. At the end of the trip, you will either return to the departure pier or to the Saint-Jean-d'Acre pier, 200 m away (3 minutes' walk). You will be informed after booking.
