What to Expect

Come and learn the wonders of surfing with us during our 5-day surfing week that takes place at the Praia da Areia Branca. In this 5-day course with a total of 20 hours of lessons, you will have 2 sessions per day of 2 hours each. Our experienced instructors ensure personalised attention with a maximum of 12 participants in each session, supported by 2 instructors. Depending on the conditions and your level, the lessons might take place at different surf spots. In this case, we provide transfer. All necessary equipment is included, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm.

Our surf school offers great facilities including changing rooms and a chill out area where you can relax between sessions, as well as showers. This course is ideal for all levels, from beginners to advanced surfers. The Praia da Areia Branca is known for its beautiful waves and friendly environment, making it a perfect spot for learning and improving your surfing skills.

During the course, beginners will learn basic techniques, such as how to position yourself on the board, how to paddle, sit, and turn. Intermediate surfers will get an evaluation of their surfing skill and guidance on the best ways to improve. Advanced surfers will master the ability to catch and ride unbroken waves and practice classic surfing lines like trimming, bottom turn, and top turn. They will also work on advanced manoeuvres like tube riding, cut back, off the lip, and floater.

How To Get There

• Meeting place: At our base at the Praia da Areia Branca

• Meeting time: 10 minutes before departure

• Car parks nearby: at the meeting place (free)

• Please keep in mind that the start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available the day before until 5pm.
