About the Activity

What to Expect

If you are a nature lover, our minibus tour of the Diamond Circle is an experience you cannot miss! Departing from Akureyri, this tour will take you to some of the most breathtaking sights Iceland has to offer. After a comfortable ride in our well-equipped minibus, our first stop will be the majestic Waterfall Goðafoss, where you can marvel at its spectacular cascade and learn about its role in Iceland's history. From there, we head to the stunning Lake Mývatn area, stopping at Hverir with its bubbling mud pits and the geothermal marvel of Mt. Námafjall. This otherworldly landscape is both beautiful and haunting, offering a glimpse into Iceland's volcanic heart.

Our journey continues with a brief visit to the Víti crater near the Krafla Volcano, where you can take in the dramatic views of this volcanic wonder. Next, we visit Waterfall Dettifoss, renowned as Europe's most powerful waterfall, where you will witness the awe-inspiring force of water, mud, and sand tumbling into Iceland’s most impressive canyon. Traveling along the Jökulsárgljúfur glacial canyon, we reach the serene Vesturdalur valley and Hljóðaklettar, known for their echoing cliffs and unique rock formations, perfect for photography and exploration.

Our journey concludes with a visit to the grand Ásbyrgi canyon, a horseshoe-shaped haven with steep cliffs that are steeped in myth and legend as the meeting place of pagan gods. As we make our way back to Akureyri, we make a leisurely stop at a charming café in the quaint Húsavík village, where you can relax and enjoy local delicacies.
