About the Activity

What to Expect

Set off on an exciting jeep tour through Iceland with our tour to Lake Mývatn! As we drive along the scenic coast of Eyjafjordur, one of Iceland's longest fjords, get ready to be captivated by the breathtaking views of the landscape. Our first stop is the majestic Goðafoss waterfall, where you can witness the powerful rush of water and discover its fascinating history. The journey continues through lush valleys and volcanic terrains, ensuring an unforgettable experience.

At Lake Mývatn, marvel at the unique volcanic landforms created by a basaltic lava eruption 2,300 years ago, including impressive lava pillars and rootless vents. We then visit the hot spring area at Hverarönd in Námaskarð before making our way to the powerful Dettifoss waterfall, known as the most powerful waterfall in Europe, where you can witness the impressive rush of water cascading into the canyon.

On our return journey, we explore the distinctive lava formations of Dimmuborgir and the captivating pseudocraters at Skútustaðagígar. Our final stop brings us back to Eyjafjordur, where you can enjoy breathtaking views over the fjord towards Akureyri, perfect for capturing that last memorable photo. This tour is ideal for nature enthusiasts and those eager to experience Iceland's dramatic landscapes up close.
