What to Expect

If your little snowboarder is ready to become the master of the slopes, our kids snowboarding lessons for all levels are the perfect choice! In the heart of Bansko, Bulgaria, our school boasts over 20 years of experience in creating a fun and supportive learning environment. Conveniently located just steps away from the gondola lift, the school provides easy access to the slopes. Our expertly trained instructors focus on a personal approach to ensure a memorable and effective learning experience.

The lesson kicks off with an introduction to the basic techniques of snowboarding, where participants will learn how to balance and control their speed. This foundational skill is crucial for beginners to gain confidence. As the session progresses, kids will practice their first turns on gentle slopes, such as the magical 7 km ski road from Banderitsa Poljana, which provides a safe and relaxing environment. Our small group sizes allow for personalized attention, ensuring every child progresses at their own pace.

For those who are more advanced, the focus will shift to refining their technique. This involves tackling steeper slopes and perfecting turning techniques that are essential for more challenging terrains. The lesson is designed for kids and teens of all abilities, offering an inclusive atmosphere where everyone can thrive. With the support and guidance of our skilled instructors, your child will enjoy a fun and engaging experience that builds both skill and confidence.

Meeting Time

We meet at the last gondola station called Banderiska Poljana, at the booked time. Please note that it takes approximately 25 minutes to get to this station from the bottom one.

Lunch Care

Lunch is not included or supervised. Our instructors will wait with the kids until parents come to pick them up. We recommend dining at the top gondola station, where there are many restaurants.

Equipment Rental

Our shop is open Monday to Sunday from 7 am to 8 pm. You can pick up your equipment preferably the day before the activity or the day of the activity at least two hours before the start.

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Parents do not necessarily need a ski pass, but they need at least a gondola ticket to pick up their kids for the lunch break and after finishing the lesson.

Additional Services

• We offer a shuttle service from the shop to the top gondola station in the mornings for €8 per person, ensuring timely arrival at the meeting point, especially during high season when the gondola is crowded.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Snowboard equipment not included in the lessons

• Please make sure your kid has a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• Please remember that the gondola ride to the meeting point takes 25 minutes, and waiting times can be long, especially during high season. The resort can be crowded, so allow enough time to arrive at our meeting point on time
