Discover the beauty of diving with this trial dive in Bouillante. This one-day course will introduce you to the world of diving. Together with a professional diver, you will learn the basics of diving, get to know the equipment, and explore the vibrant marine life and lush underwater flora of the region. The program includes a mix of theory lessons and practical dive in the stunning surroundings.
We will meet at our dive center where you will be warmly welcomed by our team. The session takes approximately two hours, beginning with a brief theory session where you will learn the essentials to start diving. After this, you will be fully equipped and ready for the boat trip to the Pigeon Islands in the Cousteau Reserve. Here, you will enjoy a 25-minute dive exploring depths between 3 and 5 meters. Our modern boats are well-equipped with safety gear, including an emergency kit, VHF, and oxygen supply.
The trial dives take place at the Pigeon Islands, a location renowned for its diverse underwater life. You will have the chance to spot a variety of fish such as parrotfish, surgeonfish, and triggerfish, along with beautiful corals and gorgonians. Our professional instructors accompany you at every step, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience regardless of your skill level. After diving, you'll return to the dive center, having gained a newfound appreciation for the underwater world.
A trial dive does not qualify you for independent diving or any official certification. To dive without an instructor or go on more advanced dives, you would need to complete an open water certification course such as a PADI Open Water Diver.
