What to Expect

Join us for a unique diving experience in the heart of Guadeloupe with this FFESSM PE12 Diving Course in Bouillante for Beginners! This course is perfect for beginners and requires no previous experience. It is suitable for anyone from the age of 8 years old and is completed over 1.5 to 2 days. You will enjoy a total of 3 dives, which include open water dives and pool dives, offering a comprehensive introduction to scuba diving.

Throughout the course, you will learn the basics of diving in both theory and practice. The professional divers will guide you through understanding your equipment and essential safety measures. You will travel on a motorboat to our dive sites, where you will dive up to 12 meters in a controlled and safe environment. These dives will take place in some of the most beautiful spots around Bouillante, where you can explore vibrant coral reefs and encounter a variety of marine life.

The theory sessions will take place in a relaxed setting, ensuring you feel confident and prepared for your dives. The trial dives will be conducted in shallow waters, allowing you to get comfortable with the equipment and surroundings. This course offers a wonderful opportunity to discover the underwater world of Guadeloupe, making it perfect for those seeking a new adventure.

This course qualifies you to:

• Dive to a maximum depth of 20m (65 feet)

How to get there

• Meeting place: At our diving center in Malendure Beach in Bouillante

• Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of the activity

• Car parks nearby: within a 5 minute walk (paid)

Programme

On-site Theory Lecture:

You will learn all about scuba diving theory in a classroom setting at the dive centre with one of our instructors.

Practice Sessions:

We will meet at the dive centre, at the agreed-upon time, check you in and have you fill out the necessary paperwork, including the Medical Statement. When it gets to your first practical diving sessions in the pool, we will provide you with all the rental equipment you need. The exact schedule of your course is set individually, based on your progress with the theoretical part of the course and on how much time you have to spare during the following days. We will discuss this on your first day at the dive centre.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 8 years

• Swimming ability

• Physical health

• If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses

• Medical certificate

• You should not fly within the next 24 hours after the dive

• Diving spot can change based on weather conditions
