About the Activity

What to Expect

Experience the wonders of the Icelandic south coast as we take you on a journey of glaciers, waterfalls and picturesque volcanic landscapes in this private jeep tour. You and your companions will be assigned to your own 4X4 Land Rover Defender, a robust vehicle designed for overland expeditions, ensuring you can explore even the most hidden and hard-to-reach places along the Volcanic Way. From Reykjavík, follow the North Atlantic coastline, with its breathtaking views of glacier-capped volcanoes and stunning landscapes. The tour begins with a drive through expansive lava fields near the actively volcanic Hengill mountain, offering a unique chance to see the geological wonders of Iceland up close.

One of the first highlights is a stop at the Skógafoss Waterfall, where you can take a short walk up a flight of steps to witness one of Iceland's most scenic vistas, featuring glaciers, volcanoes, and black sandy beaches. Next, you will have the option to visit the dramatic Reynisfjara beach, the icy expanse of Sólheimajökull glacier tongue, or the vast Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Before returning to the city, we pause at the majestic Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, standing 60 metres high. This tour is ideal for those seeking an adventurous exploration of Iceland's stunning natural beauty.
