What to Expect

Our kids ski lessons for all levels in Bansko are the perfect introduction to skiing for your little ones! Nestled in a picturesque setting, Bansko ski resort boasts a total of 74 skiable kilometres, making it ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers with its predominantly blue and red slopes. The lessons take place on the gentle slopes, where our magic carpet provides the perfect playground for first-timers to comfortably learn the basics of skiing. Our experienced ski instructors ensure that each child feels comfortable and safe with their equipment, providing a nurturing environment for learning.

During the two-hour or four-hour lessons, kids aged 4 to 13 will be grouped with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 students, ensuring personalized attention. Our tailored lessons are designed for all levels, from those taking their first steps on skis to more advanced young skiers eager to refine their technique. As they progress, children will gain the self-confidence needed to tackle more challenging slopes, learning essential skills such as how to parallel ski and safely navigate steeper slopes.

Bansko's ski school specializes in developing young skiers' confidence and skills across various terrains, allowing them to become fantastic skiers. Whether your child is just starting or looking to master new challenges, these lessons offer an engaging and supportive environment. With each session, they will become more adept at skiing, ultimately enjoying the thrill and freedom of exploring Bansko's beautiful slopes.

Meeting Time

We meet at the last station of the gondola (1600 m), nearby the piste map of Bansko at the booked time. The gondola ride is about 30 minutes.

Equipment Rental

If you book including equipment, you can conveniently pick it up at our ski school office. We recommend picking up your equipment 60 minutes before the start of the lessons or the day before from 8:00 a.m pm to 6:00 p.m pm at our rental shop.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 3 participants of the same level and age group

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet
