What to Expect

Take your kid to an exciting snowboarding experience with our kids snowboarding lessons from 7 years old to 12 years old in Bansko! Nestled in the heart of the Pirin Mountains, the Bansko Ski Resort is renowned for its stunning scenery and family-friendly amenities, offering a perfect setting for young snowboarders to learn and grow. With over 75 kilometres of slopes, including areas specifically designed for beginners and intermediate riders, Bansko ensures a comprehensive learning experience for all levels.

Our snowboarding lessons are tailored to meet the needs of young beginners and those transitioning to intermediate-advanced levels. Starting with a session on the magic carpet, children will be introduced to the basics of balance and movement on snow, which is crucial for building confidence. As the lesson progresses, our experienced instructors will guide the group through fundamental techniques, such as turning and stopping, on gentle slopes. These skills are essential for safe and enjoyable snowboarding.

The lessons are conducted in small groups, with a maximum of 10 children and a minimum of 3, ensuring individual attention and a supportive environment. Our lessons are perfect for those looking to enhance their snowboarding skills in a fun and structured setting. Ideal for children aged 7 to 12, these lessons provide a solid foundation in snowboarding and foster a love for winter sports.

Meeting Time

We meet at our rental shop in Bansko, 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Equipment Rental

If you book including equipment, you can pick it up at our rental shop in Bansko. We recommend picking up your equipment one hour before start or the day before from 08:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 3 participants of the same level and age group

• Snowboard equipment not included in the lessons

• Please make sure your kid has a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet
