What to Expect

Discover scuba diving in the turquoise waters of Mauritius! From Blue Bay Beach, come and experience an unforgettable diving experience that will mark the beginning of a long-lasting passion. With an experienced instructor by your side, you will discover the unique feeling of weightlessness underwater as a whole new world opens up to you. After an introduction to the safety rules for a risk-free dive, you will dive up to 10 meters and observe the lagoon's colourful, bubbling underwater life. This activity requires no previous experience and can be done from 8 years old. Perfect for the whole family!

Dive Area

Located in the southeast of Mauritius, Blue Bay lies at the foot of a lagoon stretching as far as Mahébourg. Without going far from the beach, you will encounter coral reefs teeming with life and home to many species of fish, such as butterfly fish and clown fish. If you're lucky, you will even spot turtles and dolphins.

Programme

We meet at the booked time at our dive centre. After being welcomed by our team and completing the medical form, we hand over your equipment. We then go to Blue Bay Beach, 100 meters from our centre, where our boat is located. While we are on our way to the dive site in the lagoon, we explain what will happen.

Then you get in the water. Once you have familiarized yourself with your equipment in shallow water (1 meter) and received basic safety instructions, you will dive deeper (between 6 and 10 m depending on how confident you feel) with your dive instructor. After your dive, you will have time to quench your thirst with water and fruit juices on board the boat. Once all participants have completed their dives, we return to Blue Bay and our dive centre, where you can enjoy our facilities (showers, etc.).

Requirements

• Minimum age: 8

• Physical health

• If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses

• If you have a heart condition or diabetes, you must bring a medical certificate
