What to Expect

With its enchanting turquoise waters, Mauritius is a veritable paradise for diving enthusiasts. If you have a certification, at least Open Water Diver, our professional instructors invite you to discover the underwater treasures around Blue Bay Beach. We will take you to explore the most beautiful sites south of the island, from multicoloured coral to mysterious caves and impressive wrecks. We offer several sites at depths of between 10 and 40 metres, depending on your level and wishes. Our excursions take place in the morning, giving you the chance to make two dives, for twice the fun!

Dive Area

Located in the south-east of Mauritius, Blue Bay lies at the foot of a lagoon stretching as far as Mahébourg. Its crystal-clear waters, ranging in depth from 6 to 25 metres, are home to magnificent, colourful coral and a vibrant underwater life, with many tropical fish, such as butterfly fish and clown fish, and even turtles. Outside the lagoon, other sites await divers at depths of up to 40 metres. The site is selected daily depending on the level of participants and the weather and sea conditions.

Programme

We meet at the booked time at our dive centre. After being welcomed by our team and completing the medical form, you will be given your equipment. We will then make our way to Blue Bay Beach, 100 metres from our centre, where our boat is located. While we're on our way to your chosen dive site that day, we will explain how the morning will unfold.

You will do two dives in the morning, each lasting around 40 minutes. Between them, you can quench your thirst with water and fruit juices on board the boat. After the second dive, we return to Blue Bay and our dive centre, where you can clean your equipment and enjoy our facilities (showers, etc.).
