At the valley station of the Astbergbahn in Going, near the ticket office and ski racks (Marchstraße 53, 6353 Going am Wilden Kaiser)
These private ski lessons for adults and teenagers aged 15 and older are tailored to all skill levels. They take place in the stunning Going am Wilden Kaiser resort, part of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental area. Known for its diverse and scenic slopes, the region offers 244 kilometers of perfectly groomed ski terrain, making it an ideal learning environment. From gentle beginner slopes to thrilling red and black runs, the resort provides terrain for every ability level. Whether you prefer one-on-one instruction or learning in small groups of up to 6 participants, the lessons offer focused attention and an environment suited to your goals.
The lesson begins with a personal assessment to match the lesson content to your experience and goals. First-timers focus on getting familiar with their equipment, learning how to balance safely, and practicing a controlled snowplough stop. This builds essential confidence on gentle, designated beginner slopes. For beginners with basic skills, we emphasize learning smooth turns, speed control, and independent use of drag lifts, essential steps for navigating beginner-friendly terrain with greater comfort. For intermediate skiers, the focus shifts to refining parallel turns and improving balance and coordination on slightly steeper red slopes, while working on more fluid technique and control. Advanced skiers will challenge themselves with dynamic carving, technical runs on more challenging black slopes, and specific exercises tailored to personal goals.
Your expert instructor uses modern, proven teaching techniques to ensure steady progress while making the lesson engaging and supportive. No matter your current level, these private lessons offer personalized coaching, tailored feedback, and a rewarding experience on the beautiful, varied slopes of Going am Wilden Kaiser.
