These private ski tours for adults and teenagers from 15 years offer a unique opportunity to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Going am Wilden Kaiser and the surrounding SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental area. With a maximum group size of 4 participants or the option for a one-on-one adventure, these tours combine personalized guidance with the serenity of untouched winter landscapes. Participants need to have a good skiing level, as the tours involve off-piste and uphill ascents, but no prior ski touring experience is required.
The adventure begins with an introduction to essential ski touring equipment, including skins, bindings, and avalanche safety gear, ensuring every participant feels well-prepared. For first timers to ski touring, the focus is on mastering key basics: understanding how to use skins for uphill ascents, pacing energy during climbs, and practicing controlled descents on easier, open slopes. Tours often lead through gentle terrain surrounded by breathtaking alpine views, where participants can experience the peaceful beauty of the Astberg and Wilder Kaiser foothills at a manageable pace. More experienced participants enjoy longer, more challenging routes that include steeper climbs and thrilling off-piste descents through powder-covered slopes or forest trails. Advanced tours may reach higher elevations, offering panoramic views of the Wilder Kaiser range while refining ski touring techniques, such as managing hairpin turns during ascents and optimizing off-piste control on variable snow conditions.
Guided by the experienced and certified instructor Patrick Unterrader, this tour promises safety, adventure, and the freedom of alpine ski touring, ensuring an unforgettable day in the spectacular winter scenery of the Wilder Kaiser. Whether you aim to challenge yourself or simply enjoy the beauty of untouched nature, this ski tour offers a perfect mix of excitement and tranquility.
