If you are looking for your next icy adventure, our glacier tour in Falljökull with ice climbing is a unique opportunity to experience Icelandic nature as never before! Suitable for adventure seekers and climbing enthusiasts, the tour begins with a hike across the striking Falljökull, known as the "Falling Glacier." This glacier is famous for its dramatic icefall, where the ice flows steeply down the mountainside, creating stunning crevasses and ice formations. As you trek, you will be introduced to essential glacier safety techniques by our expert guides, ensuring a secure and memorable journey.
The adventure continues as our guide selects an appropriate ice wall for climbing. Participants of all skill levels, whether beginners or experienced climbers, will have the chance to go over some ice climbing techniques and attempt at least one climb. This hands-on experience allows you to develop new skills beyond standard ice climbing, focusing on hard ice skills that are both challenging and rewarding. With a small group size of only six people, the tour can be tailored to focus more on glacier hiking or climbing, depending on your interests. This tour is ideal for those looking to immerse themselves in the majestic beauty of Iceland's glaciers while enjoying a thrilling and educational experience.
