About the Activity

What to Expect

Our kids ski lessons at Ettelsberg are perfect for beginners aged 5 to 12! We focus on a child-friendly approach that makes learning fun and engaging. With small groups of up to 10 kids, every participant gets personal attention and a customized experience on the snow.

The lesson begins with an introduction to the ski equipment, teaching children how to familiarise themselves with their gear. This initial step is crucial for building confidence and ensuring a safe experience on the slopes. As the lesson progresses, the children will practice their first steps on skis on beginner-friendly slopes, learning fundamental skills like balance and control.

Our experienced ski instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge. They will guide the young skiers to master their first turns and help them glide on gentle slopes. Safety is always our top priority, and our instructors are dedicated to providing comprehensive insights into skiing techniques in an engaging and understandable manner for young learners.

The instructors at the kids school were very nice with the children - their assessment of the child's ability may vary slightly so if you think your child should go to a harder class or go down one level, make sure you say it, they are very accommodating and watchful of the kids.

The teachers are super! They definitely deserve 5 stars. They are nice and work very hard. On the first day, the classes were really very large. The kids had to stand waiting for a very long time, at an angle on the mountain, until it was their turn. However, the waiting took too long because there were as many as 25 kids per class. If they skied down "down" 4 times in 2 hours, that was a lot. On the remaining days, the classes were smaller and it was better.
