Kids Ski Lessons (4-10 y.) for First-Timers - Willingen

What to Expect

Our children’s ski course in Willingen is aimed at all youngsters aged 4 to 10 who are skiing for the first time or have very little experience. The children are divided into suitable groups according to their ability.

We usually take the children to the Kinderland. If some participants are already more advanced, we reserve the right to move to the Dorfwiese. You’ll need a ticket (€5) for the Kinderland, which you can buy directly from us at the ski school. Please purchase your ticket for the Dorfwiese at the lift ticket office on site.

During the course, the children learn how to brake safely and make their first turns. Ski poles are not required for this course. With our qualified ski instructors, the little ones make rapid progress and have lots of fun – right in front of the Ettelsberg cable car.

Meeting Time

We meet at our office (Zur Hoppecke 5, D - 34508 Willingen), 45 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Please bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation with you when arriving at our ski school to ensure a faster check-in. During holiday periods, we kindly ask you to arrive 1 hour before the lesson starts.

Equipment Rental

If you have booked via checkyeti, including equipment, please have your booking confirmation ready and present it at the counter of our ski school (Zur Hoppecke 5, D - 34508 Willingen). There, the ski school manager will give you a collection slip with a barcode. With this slip, you can collect your equipment directly from the hire shop without having to queue at the till again – saving you time and a detour. Please collect your equipment in good time: either the day before or at the latest one hour before your course starts. Our opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. On days when floodlit skiing is available, the hire shop even stays open until 10 pm. Important: Even if you haven’t booked a course with us but have reserved equipment via checkyeti, you must still report to the ski school registration desk to collect your collection slip. This is the only way you can collect your hire equipment.

Ski Pass

An entrance fee of €5 needs to be paid on site to access the Kinderland. A ski pass is not necessary.

Good to Know

• Please come to the ski school before the course starts for registration and show your CheckYeti booking code. At the office you will receive a paper to pick up the equipment.
