What to Expect

Join our private traditional pinnace trip in the Arcachon Bay. Come discover the hidden gems of the region with our captain onboard our authentic pinnace! Depending on the chosen duration, you will get to discover different locations. On a 2-hour trip, you will visit the famous Île aux Oiseaux, known for its diverse bird species and the iconic Cabanes Tchanquées. These charming cabins are perched on stilts, offering a unique glimpse into local architecture.

For a 3-hour journey, you can also admire the majestic Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe, and the scenic beauty of Cap Ferret lighthouse and headland. This headland provides breathtaking views over the bay and is a favourite spot for photographers. Opting for a 4-hour excursion includes all the previous sites as well as a visit to the Banc d'Arguin, a natural sandbank ideal for birdwatching and soaking in the serene landscape. If you choose the 5-hour tour, you will also explore the typical oyster farming villages of l'Herbe, Le Canon, and Piraillan, where you can experience the local oyster culture and enjoy a leisurely walk through these picturesque settlements. The longer you choose, the more time you will have to stop for a swim and enjoy the surroundings.

We meet in the port of Arcachon, in front of the restaurant Kraken, 30 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free and paid parking nearby.
