Embark on a captivating round trip ferry excursion from Toulon to the idyllic Porquerolles Island, where a day of unparalleled beauty awaits. Our journey begins at the port of Toulon, as we set off on a scenic voyage towards the jewel of the Golden Islands. The crossing will last around 1 hour and 15 minutes, with live commentary from our crew.
Upon arrival at Porquerolles, you will have the freedom to explore this stunning paradise at your own pace. Known as the "Pearl of the Golden Islands," the island boasts a breathtaking array of landscapes. For those keen on exploration, the island's numerous hiking trails reward with panoramic vistas. A leisurely stroll through the charming village offers a unique experience, and when the sun shines brightly, a refreshing dip at one of the island's magnificent beaches is irresistible. Notre Dame beach, recognised as Europe's most beautiful beach in 2015, is a must-see. Beyond this gem, the island features other exquisite shores like the popular Silver Beach.
History enthusiasts will find the island's ancient forts captivating. The impressive Grand Langoustier fort, Alycastre fort, Sainte Agathe fort, and Repentance fort each tell their own fascinating stories. Before our departure, be sure to visit the picturesque Cap d'Arme lighthouse and the beautifully restored Windmill of Happiness. As the day draws to a close, we return to our ferry, concluding a memorable island escape. Our friendly crew ensures a comfortable journey back to Toulon.
We meet in Toulon, 15 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid car parks nearby. The return journey will take place at 5 p.m. in low season, and from 7 July to 31 August at 6.15 p.m. (with possible changes for 14 July and 31 August). You will be informed of any changes in due course.
