Once on Porquerolles, start your exploration with the Windmill of Happiness, a beautifully restored 18th-century structure that provides a glimpse into the island's past. For those who enjoy walking, the island has numerous hiking paths that lead to panoramic vistas offering breathtaking views. Alternatively, take a gentle stroll through the quaint village, where you can soak in the local charm.
Porquerolles is also famous for its exquisite beaches. Visit the renowned Notre Dame beach, celebrated as the "most beautiful beach in Europe" in 2015, or relax on the popular Silver Beach, perfect for sunseekers. History enthusiasts can explore the island's impressive fortifications, including the majestic Grand Langoustier fort, the intriguing Alycastre fort, the historic Sainte Agathe fort, and the poignant Repentance fort. We meet in Saint-Mandrier, 15 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free car parks nearby. The return journey will take place at 5 p.m. in low season, and from 7 July to 31 August at 6.15 p.m. (with possible changes for 14 July and 31 August). You will be informed of any changes in due course.
