What to Expect

Join us for our classic rafting sessions in the Verdon gorge, from 8 years old for families. As you arrive at our base in Castellane, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and guided through the process of getting kitted out with all the necessary equipment. A short minibus ride of just three minutes will take you to the riverbank where your adventure truly begins. Here, our experienced guide will provide a comprehensive safety briefing, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and prepared for the thrilling experience ahead.

As you embark on the 15 km journey through the stunning Verdon gorge, you will encounter a delightful mix of calm waters and thrilling rapids. The river's green waters offer a serene backdrop as you glide through the picturesque landscape. For those seeking a bit more excitement, there will be opportunities to jump into the water between the rapids, adding an extra element of fun and adventure. The alternating sections of tranquility and excitement allow you to fully soak up the surroundings and enjoy the natural beauty of the gorge.

The tour concludes at the charming Pont de Soleil beach, where our driver will be waiting to take you back to the base. The return journey takes approximately 20 minutes, providing a perfect opportunity to reflect on the day's adventures and share stories with fellow rafters. This rafting experience is perfect for beginners and families, offering a blend of excitement, relaxation, and unforgettable memories in one of nature's most magnificent settings.
