About the Activity

What to Expect

Set against the breathtaking scenery of La Plagne, our Pro-Rider group ski lessons are designed for skilled young skiers aged 12 to 17 who want to challenge themselves on the slopes. Participants should already be confident on all types of terrain – including black runs – and ready to start exploring freeride and off-piste skiing (comparable to the French Ski d’Or level).

Lessons are held in small groups of up to 8, allowing instructors to provide tailored guidance and close attention. Beginning on well-prepared pistes, your child will focus on building confidence in freeriding, learning to handle varied snow conditions, and refining advanced techniques.

As the week progresses, the group will explore more challenging slopes, including off-piste terrain, working on technique, control, and precision in demanding conditions. By the end of the course, each young skier will have strengthened their skills and confidence, ready to enjoy the mountain safely and independently while taking their skiing to the next level.

Meeting Time

We meet at the foot of the main chairlifts in Plagne Centre, next to the Le Croq' Neige restaurant, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Pick-up

Free minibus service: we offer a private minibus service to take you to the meeting point, completely free of charge. to use this service, call us when you arrive at the resort, and the bus will pick you up at the stop closest to your accommodation.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 12 years

• Minimum level: 12 weeks of skiing experience and ability to ski on black slopes

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The minimum age is a general recommendation and may vary depending on level and experience.
