About the Activity

What to Expect

Nestled amid the breathtaking alpine scenery of Tignes, our Pro-Rider ski lessons are designed for skilled young skiers aged 12 to 17 who are eager to take on new challenges. Participants should already be confident on all types of slopes, including black runs, and ready to explore freeride and off-piste terrain (equivalent to the French Ski d’Or level).

The lessons commence on marked pistes, where the focus is on honing freeride techniques and learning to adapt to different snow conditions. In small groups of up to 6, each skier receives personalised instruction and feedback from our expert instructors. This initial phase is crucial for building the skills necessary to tackle more complex terrains and enhancing overall skiing proficiency.

As the course progresses, skiers will venture onto more demanding slopes and off-piste areas, practising safety, control, and precision in a variety of scenarios. By the end of the week, each participant will have significantly boosted their technical ability and confidence. They will be ready to enjoy the mountain independently and take their skiing to the next level, equipped with a new set of skills and a deeper appreciation for the sport.

Meeting Time

We meet on the snow front of Tignes le Lac, at the bottom of the Centre magic carpet, next to the terrace of Hôtel Le Levanna, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 12 years

• Minimum level: 12 weeks of skiing experience and ability to ski on black slopes

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet
