What to Expect

Our snowboarding lessons are open to all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned riders. If you’re new to the sport, you’ll start by getting comfortable with your board, learning balance, and practicing on gentle slopes. As your confidence builds, you’ll progress to linking turns and controlling your speed and direction—essential skills for tackling more varied terrain.

For those with more experience, lessons focus on refining technique, improving edge control, and riding steeper slopes with ease. With groups limited to just 6 participants, our instructors are able to give each rider plenty of individual feedback. You’ll also get the chance to explore different areas of the resort, adding variety to your sessions. By the end, you’ll have sharpened your skills and gained the confidence to enjoy Tignes’ slopes to the fullest.

Set in the heart of the French Alps, Tignes offers stunning views and an incredible mix of slopes for every level, from beginner zones to more challenging runs. With modern ski lifts and a lively après-ski scene, it’s the perfect setting to learn, progress, and enjoy the thrill of snowboarding.

Meeting Time

We meet on the snow front of Tignes le Lac, at the bottom of the Centre magic carpet, next to the terrace of Hôtel Le Levanna, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson
