What to Expect

Introduce your little ones to the magic of skiing with our private lessons in Val Thorens! Suitable for children from the age of 3, these sessions cater to all levels. Whether it is their very first time on skis or they already have some experience, each lesson is tailored to their needs. With one-to-one guidance from our instructors, children can progress at their own pace, learning to handle their equipment, make their first turns, or refine techniques such as parallel skiing and tackling steeper slopes.

Parents can choose to book a small private group - up to 8 people - for their children with others of a similar level, giving youngsters the chance to ski together while still receiving personalized instruction. Our teaching adapts to each child and group, keeping everyone motivated, safe, and steadily improving. With Val Thorens’ varied slopes and breathtaking alpine surroundings, young skiers gain confidence, develop their skills, and share the pure joy of skiing in a fun and supportive environment.

Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe, offers a unique backdrop for these lessons. Its extensive range of slopes provides the perfect terrain for all levels of skiers. From gentle beginner areas to more challenging runs, the resort ensures that every lesson is both productive and enjoyable.

Meeting Time

We meet in front of the Oxygene flags, in front of the Tourotel hotel in Val Thorens, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

Children under 5 years old don’t need a ski pass for lessons, but all skiers aged 5 and above must have a ski pass from the first day. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

• The minimum age is a general recommendation and may vary depending on level and experience.

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level
