What to Expect

These group ski lessons are ideal for children aged 3 to 12, regardless of their experience level. In a fun and safe environment, children will embark on their skiing journey at the picturesque ski resort of Braies, known for its family-friendly atmosphere. The resort offers gentle slopes and a dedicated "kinderland" area, specifically designed for beginners. With over 50 years of experience, our ski school ensures a nurturing setting where young skiers are introduced to the basics through engaging and playful methods.

The lesson begins with getting acquainted with the ski equipment, an essential step to ensure comfort and safety. Beginners will start on the magic carpet, learning how to balance and make their first turns. These foundational skills are crucial for building confidence and are taught in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for young learners. Intermediate skiers will progress to more challenging slopes where they will refine their parallel skiing techniques, an important skill for maintaining control and speed. Advanced participants will tackle steeper terrains, focusing on technique refinement to enhance their skiing prowess.

Beyond skiing skills, children will learn the importance of snow safety and mountain awareness, ensuring they enjoy a holistic and enriching experience. The combination of a beautiful setting, expert instruction, and a focus on fun makes these ski lessons a memorable experience for young adventurers.

Meeting Time

We meet at our ski school, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Advanced skiers need a ski pass for the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at our school before the first lesson.

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 3 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Warm socks, including an extra pair

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 3 participants

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• The maximum group size is 10 participants per group

• Please note that one hour of lesson time equals 55 minutes.
