We meet at our school (Frazione Braies di Fuori, 86, 39030 Braies BZ)
These ski lessons are perfect for anyone above 13 years old, looking for learning or improving their skiing skills. Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of the Braies ski resort, our lessons are designed for all skill levels, from first-timers to advanced skiers. With more than 50 years of experience, our school prides itself on offering comprehensive lessons that cater to each individual's needs. The resort itself offers a charming blend of scenic beauty and well-maintained facilities, making it an ideal place for both beginners and seasoned skiers.
The lesson begins with a brief introduction to your equipment, ensuring you are comfortable and ready to embark on this skiing journey. Beginners will focus on mastering the basics of skiing, learning how to balance and make those crucial first turns. As you progress, our experienced instructors will guide you to more challenging sections of the resort, perfect for refining your skills. Intermediate skiers will learn how to parallel ski, while advanced skiers will tackle steeper slopes and work on refining their technique.
Our instructors are committed to ensuring that you gain confidence in your abilities and enjoy the process of learning. Whether you are a beginner eager to make your first turns or an advanced skier looking to perfect your style, these lessons offer a chance to enhance your skills in the stunning backdrop of Braies.
Based on the instructor’s assessment, it is possible to move to another level during the course if a participant progresses quickly.
On the first day, we meet 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
You need to bring your own equipment.
First timers don't need a ski pass on the first day of the lessons. The instructor will let you know when to buy it.
Advanced skiers need a ski pass for the lessons.
Please note that the lessons only take place with a minimum of 3 participants.
The maximum group size is 10 participants per group.
Please note that one hour of lesson time equals 55 minutes.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
