Our private ski lessons in La Rosière are designed for young skiers from 2 years old and for all ability levels, from complete beginners to those with some experience. With the full attention of a qualified instructor, your child can progress at their own pace while building confidence on the slopes. Beginners will learn to use their equipment, make their first turns, and feel comfortable on snow. For more experienced children, the lessons focus on refining technique, improving parallel skiing, and tackling steeper terrain.
If you’d like a more social experience, you can also book a small private group of up to 6 participants. Children of a similar level can learn together, encouraging motivation and fun while still benefiting from personalised instruction. Instructors adapt their teaching methods to keep every child engaged, ensuring steady progress in a safe and enjoyable environment on the slopes of La Rosière.
We meet in La Rosière, either at Les Eucherts or in the Centre, depending on the selected meeting point, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
Children under 5 years old don’t need a ski pass for lessons, but all skiers aged 5 and above must have a ski pass from the first day. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
