At the Stuhleck Family Lift, in front of the container Hinterleiten 2b (8684 Spital am Semmering, Austria)
Our private Bi-Ski lessons for children from 3 years old and up are tailored to each participant’s needs, providing a safe, supportive, and fun experience for all levels—whether it is their first time on the snow or they are ready to build more confidence and skills. At the picturesque Stuhleck resort, known for its family-friendly atmosphere and scenic views, participants can explore a variety of slopes, each offering unique features to suit different levels of proficiency. The Bi-Ski, a special device allowing individuals with high support needs to enjoy skiing, is a highlight. It consists of a comfortable plastic shell seat mounted on two skis, providing a thrilling experience for those with conditions like Cerebral palsy, paraplegia, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Each lesson begins with a brief introduction to the equipment, ensuring participants are familiar with how to use the Bi-Ski effectively. The instructor will guide participants through basic skills such as shifting the centre of gravity to steer, which is crucial for maintaining control. As the lesson progresses, you will tackle the gentle slopes of Stuhleck, perfect for practicing newfound abilities and gaining confidence. With varying levels of adaptation, our experienced instructors can provide different levels of support, allowing participants to either enjoy a fully assisted ride or gradually move towards more independent skiing. By the end of the session, children will have experienced the joy of skiing while developing essential skills in a supportive environment.
