Our inclusive winter sports experiences are designed for children from three years old, as well as teenagers and adults—regardless of whether they move standing, sitting, sliding, or gliding on the snow. The focus is on experiencing movement, developing confidence and self-esteem, and enjoying winter sports in a protected, encouraging, and appreciative atmosphere. The offerings are suitable for those who want to gather their first experiences on snow, as well as for participants who want to deepen or expand their existing movement skills. The Stuhleck ski resort offers ideal conditions for an inclusive winter sports experience in a natural setting, with its clear areas, gentle slopes, and expansive surroundings.
Adaptive aids such as ski-links, tip connectors, or other individually tailored supports are used as needed. These allow for consideration of different physical, sensory, and cognitive needs, such as those of people with learning difficulties, Down syndrome, autism spectrum, hemiplegia, or visual impairment.
Initially, the emphasis is on getting to know the snow, equipment, and movement. On gentle surfaces, balance, coordination, and orientation are experienced playfully and at one's own pace. It is not about teaching techniques but about creating a positive sense of security and trust in one's own movement. Participants with more experience can enhance their movement forms on snow, try smoother flows, or venture into more challenging terrain—always guided, individually tailored, and without performance pressure. The personal guidance ensures that everyone finds their own access and can develop according to their own possibilities. Our inclusive winter sports offering at Stuhleck is understood as a shared experience, where diversity is a given. The goal is a supportive, joyful, and self-empowering piste experience that allows for individual paths and makes winter sports accessible to everyone.
