What to Expect

In Méribel, our private ski lessons are designed for children from the age of 2, whatever their level. Whether it is their very first time on skis or they already have some experience, each lesson is fully adapted to their pace and needs. With the dedicated attention of our instructors, young skiers learn to get comfortable with their equipment, find their balance, and make their first turns in a safe and supportive setting.

Families can also choose to book a small private group of up to 8 children of similar ability. This allows young learners to enjoy skiing together while still receiving individual guidance. Our instructors adapt each session to the group, keeping every child engaged, confident, and having fun on the snow.

Surrounded by Méribel’s gentle slopes and beautiful alpine scenery, these lessons offer the perfect opportunity for children to build confidence, develop coordination, and discover the joy of skiing from an early age.

Meeting Time

We meet at the bottom of the Rhodos gondola, on the snow front where the slopes meet in La Chaudanne, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

Children under 5 years old don’t need a ski pass for lessons, but all skiers aged 5 and above must have a ski pass from the first day. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• The maximum group size is 8 participants per group
