What to Expect

Our private snowboard lessons in Val d’Isère are open to both children from 8 years old and adults, making them a great option for individuals or families who want to improve together. Every session is tailored to your level and objectives, whether you are discovering snowboarding for the first time or already feel comfortable riding down the slopes. With dedicated guidance from an experienced instructor, you benefit from personalised tips and steady progress at your own rhythm.

Beginners start by learning the basics: balance, gliding, and speed control, while getting used to gentle terrain. As confidence grows, they begin linking smooth turns and developing control over their board. More experienced riders work on refining technique, improving edge precision, and gaining fluidity on steeper or more varied slopes.

Lessons can also be booked as a small private group of up to 8 participants, allowing friends or family members of similar ability to ride together. This format combines the shared enjoyment of snowboarding with the benefits of tailored instruction, offering a safe, supportive, and rewarding experience in Val d’Isère’s alpine environment.

Meeting Time

We meet in front of the Bellevarde Express chairlift, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• The maximum group size is 8 participants per group
