About the Activity

What to Expect

Let your children discover skiing in Val d’Isère with our group lessons designed for kids aged 5 to 12. Open to all levels, these sessions welcome both complete beginners and young skiers who already feel at ease on the slopes. At the start of the week, children are placed in groups based on their ability, so everyone can progress comfortably alongside others at a similar level.

Throughout the week, our experienced instructors ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere where each child can build confidence. Beginners work on balance, snowplough turns, and learning to move independently on gentle slopes. More advanced skiers focus on refining their technique, practising parallel skiing, and exploring terrain suited to their skills.

Val d’Isère offers a fantastic environment for young skiers, with dedicated areas and varied slopes ideal for learning and improving. Groups are limited to 6 participants, ensuring each child receives personalised guidance, clear feedback, and plenty of encouragement to help them progress steadily and enjoy their time on the mountain.

Meeting Time

We meet in front of the Bellevarde Express chairlift, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

Your children can be cared for by the instructors during lunchbreak (meals and lunch care). You can book it directly on site.

Ski Pass

Free ski pass for children under 8, available at the ski school office.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The maximum group size is 6 participants per group
