What to Expect

Our family ski lessons are a special offer for families who want to spend time together in the snow while receiving professional guidance. Perfect for families with children from 3 years old, our instructors tailor the pace, content, and structure of the lessons to meet the needs of the family, creating a relaxed learning environment where everyone can learn or improve their skiing skills at their own level—without separation, without stress. The focus is on fun, safety, and shared success in the beautiful Zell am See ski region.

The course allows families to choose their desired skill level. As it is a joint lesson, the level is set according to the least experienced family member to ensure a safe, positive, and shared learning experience for everyone. Different experience levels within the family are naturally accommodated, with our instructors individually adapting the lesson to ensure that every participant, from beginners mastering the basics of skiing and first turns, to more advanced skiers honing their parallel skiing and technique, can benefit. Our playful and family-friendly approach makes learning enjoyable and memorable.

Meeting Time

We meet at the information board at the mountain station of the Schmittenhöhebahn, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Getting up to the top station can take some time, especially during high season, so please plan some time.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 3 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Booking confirmation

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The maximum group size is 4 participants per group

• The level is based on the weakest family member to ensure a safe, positive and shared learning experience for everyone. The lessons will be adapted individually.
