What to Expect
These kids ski lessons in Gerlos are ideal for children aged 6 to 12, whether they are absolute beginners or have basic skills and are looking to build on their existing skills. The lessons are ideal for first-timers or beginners, providing a fun and safe environment where children can learn the basics of skiing in groups of maximum 10 participants. Under the guidance of professional instructors using age-appropriate teaching methods, kids will gain confidence on the snow. They will start on gentle slopes where they will become familiar with their equipment and learn the importance of balance and posture. These foundational skills are crucial for their first turns and for building a love for the sport.
The instructors focus on helping each child improve their skills at their own pace, ensuring a supportive learning environment. With the picturesque backdrop of Gerlos, these lessons not only teach essential skiing skills but also provide a memorable and enriching experience for young skiers.
Meeting Time
We meet at our meeting point at the practice area close to the Arena Center at the mountain station of Isskogelbahn, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson. Please note that going up to the mountain station from the valley can take up to 15 minutes, or even longer during high-season.
Important! If you are a beginner or do not have much experience (only indoor experience), we ask you NOT to take the Dorfbahn because there is no practice area there. In this case, please take the ISSKOGELBAHN. You will get off the gondola and find yourself directly in the beginner area.
Ski Pass
First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.
Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.
Kids with some skiing experience need a ski pass. Kids under 6 years get one for free. It can be picked up at the lift station.

If a course has fewer than 4 participants, either the course duration will be shortened or we will offer private lessons of the same value as the booked course
There will be no lunch break during the lessons.
