If you want to experience the power of the mountains for yourself, our snowshoeing tours are the right choice for you. As one of the highest mountains in the immediate vicinity of the city of Salzburg, the Untersberg, at almost 2000 meters, offers everything that makes the mountaineer's heart beat faster. Look forward to a snowshoeing hike full of unparalleled views, pristine snow and fresh mountain air.
On our adventure tour, we visit the large ice cellar (ice cave), where you can feel how much energy nature has at the Unterberg. The trail continues over the Salzburger Hochtorn which offers an incredible view over the Flachgau and the surrounding mountains such as Watzmann and Hoher Göll. Enjoy the breathtaking views on this varied tour. Our snowshoe hike ends back at the mountain station at Geiereck. You need to be in good shape for this tour.
The price includes the entire rental equipment consisting of snowshoes, poles and safety equipment. The cost of the cable car is not included. If conditions do not permit a snowshoe hike on the Untersberg, we will make every effort to find an alternative tour.
Meeting point
We meet at our base in Grödig. After you have received your rental equipment and met your guide, we drive in our own cars for about 5 minutes to the Untersberg cable car, where we start with the gondola.
