What to Expect
These snowboard lessons for kids and adults in the beautiful Arlberg ski area are perfect for beginners who are new to snowboarding and eager to learn in a fun and secure environment. Designed to be both engaging and challenging, these lessons help participants master the basics of snowboarding while enjoying the camaraderie of groups of at least 5 participants. Through a combination of practical exercises and personalized guidance, first-time snowboarders will quickly gain confidence on the slopes, staying motivated and energized throughout their learning journey.
The lessons are held in practice areas equipped with top-quality learning tools, specifically tailored to different skill levels, as well as on gentle blue slopes ideal for beginners. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their skills progressively, ensuring a solid foundation in snowboarding techniques.
Guided by professional and supportive snowboard instructors, beginners will get comfortable with their equipment and start with essential techniques such as the correct use of their equipment properly, and how to find the proper, relaxed body position on a snowboard for balance and control to board more efficiently. All of this is taught in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
Meeting Time
We meet at the assembly point at the Galzigbahn in St. Anton (opposite the Gampen 4-seater chairlift), at the booked time.
Lunch Care
We do not offer lunch care during the lunch break. However, the instructor will reserve a table, so the group can have lunch together. Please bring money if you want to buy lunch.
Ski Pass
First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

I had a real good experience in a group training. Our instructor was Amelie from Denmark and I can only emphasise that you should protect this woman at all costs! She was an awesome instructor and managed to transition the majority of the group from haphazardly skittering down the „idiot“ slope, to confidently linking turns, while having fun and in a little less than 4 hours. The group experience I can also only recommend! With the right crowd, it’s a blast and I would always choose it over private lessons, because you need small breaks inbetween anyways.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
