What to Expect

If your kid is between 5 and 11 years old and wants to experience the fun of skiing for the first time in a safe and exciting way, these kids ski lessons in St. Christoph are perfect for your kid! Designed to be playful and engaging, these lessons help first-time skiers learn and make new friends in small groups of up to 6 kids. In the special beginners area, a spacious and child-friendly zone, your child will be surrounded by cool learning tools that make skiing fun and accessible. Guided by professional and friendly ski instructors, beginners will quickly feel comfortable on the snow and remain energized throughout the session.

The lesson begins with an introduction to the ski equipment, allowing the children to become familiar with their gear in a safe and supportive environment. This is followed by first gliding and coasting exercises, which are crucial for building confidence and balance on skis. Instructors ensure that each child progresses at their own pace, making sure everyone feels confident before moving on to the next stage. Your child will then learn how to ski in a plough, an important technique that helps control speed and direction on the slopes.

St. Christoph is not just known for its stunning alpine scenery, but also for its excellent facilities. The resort features a variety of child-friendly slopes that are perfect for beginners. Throughout the lesson, kids will practice on these gentle slopes, providing a perfect balance of challenge and fun. As the session progresses, the aim is to keep your child motivated and engaged while they develop their skiing skills in this beautiful mountain setting.

Meeting Time

We meet at the assembly point directly at our ski school office in St. Christoph, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

Your children can be cared for by the school during lunch (meals and lunchcare). You can book it directly on site.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

• Minimum age: 5 years

• Experience is not required

• Please note that the course only takes places with a minimum of 3 participants

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet
