What to Expect

These ski lessons for first timers are ideal for young children aged 4 to 10 years, providing a fun and safe introduction to skiing in the scenic Feldberg – Seebuck/Grafenmatt/Fahl ski resort. As the largest connected ski area in the Black Forest, the resort offers 29 km of slopes, and the specially designated Thoma Kinderland provides a protected, beginner-friendly environment for kids to learn. This area is designed specifically for young skiers, allowing them to explore skiing in a secure and playful setting. With small group sizes of up to 8 children, each participant receives personalised instruction, fostering a perfect learning atmosphere.

Our friendly and professionally trained instructors ensure a warm welcome and guide the children as they take their first steps in skiing. They will get to know their equipment, practice balancing, controlling speed, and gliding on gentle slopes. Lessons are held in Thoma Kinderland, which features two magic carpets, a ski carousel, and a slalom course. These playful elements make the learning process enjoyable and enhance the experience, while also building skills. On Thursdays, a fun final race allows the children to showcase what they’ve learned throughout the week.

By the end of the lessons, they will have gained confidence, learned essential skills, and experienced the joy of their first turns. With expert instructors and a focus on learning through play, these ski lessons offer an excellent start to the skiing journey for young beginners in the Black Forest.

Meeting Time

Please come to our ski school office either the day before your lesson or well in advance on the day of the lesson to collect your course card.

We meet at the ski school office, which is located right next to the bus stop "Feldberg-Hebelhof", 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

There is no lunchtime supervision. Please pick up your children for the lunch break at 12 p.m. next to the ski school office.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

Ski Pass

Kids do not need a ski pass for all the lessons in our Kinderland.
