About the Activity

What to Expect

These private ski lessons for children aged 3 to 14 years are tailored to meet the individual needs of young skiers, whether they are stepping onto skis for the first time or refining advanced techniques. Located in the breathtaking Feldberg – Seebuck/Grafenmatt/Fahl ski resort, the largest connected ski area in the Black Forest, this destination offers a variety of slopes for every level. From gentle beginner slopes and a dedicated Kinderland for the youngest skiers to more challenging terrain for advanced learners, Feldberg provides the perfect environment for skill development. Lessons are offered one-on-one or in small groups, ensuring personalised attention and a supportive atmosphere.

The lessons are adapted to each child’s skill level to help them progress at their own pace. First-timers start with learning how to stand and balance on skis, slide safely, and use the snowplough, helping them feel comfortable on the snow. Beginners with some experience focus on mastering basic turns, improving speed control, and using magic carpets or drag lifts independently. Intermediate skiers work on refining their parallel turns, enhancing balance and stability, and building confidence on slightly steeper slopes. For advanced young skiers, the lessons include mastering dynamic carving, tackling red and black slopes, and improving precision for more technical runs.

For groups or families opting for the extended 4-hour lesson, we offer additional features such as video analysis using your own phone and practice exercises to continue learning at home. Guided by experienced instructors who use playful and age-appropriate teaching methods, every child will leave the lesson with improved skills, greater confidence, and a love for skiing. Whether exploring Feldberg’s diverse slopes or developing key techniques, these private lessons provide a unique combination of focused learning and fun in a beautiful winter setting.
