What to Expect

Join our snowboarding lessons for kids aged 9 and up and adults at Feldberg - whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience on the board. The Feldberg – Seebuck/Grafenmatt/Fahl ski resort, located on the highest mountain in the Black Forest, offers 29 km of diverse slopes for all levels as well as the Mini Snowpark Feldberg, featuring rails, boxes, kicker jumps, and a dedicated area for beginners, providing ideal conditions for progression. With small groups of up to 8 participants, you will enjoy personalised guidance in a motivating and supportive environment.

The lessons begin with an assessment of your skills to ensure that each participant is matched with the right level of instruction. First-time snowboarders will focus on the basics, learning how to get up safely, balance on the board, and perform their first J-turns, building a solid foundation for further progress. Beginners will continue to develop their skills by practicing smooth turns, improving balance and speed control, and gaining confidence on gentle slopes, preparing them for more advanced techniques as they progress.

Our experienced snowboard instructors use modern teaching methods tailored to your individual goals. Throughout the course, you will practice various techniques to enhance your skills and gain more confidence on the board. Whether on the diverse slopes or in the Mini Snowpark, this course offers the perfect combination of learning, fun, and progress in one of the most beautiful areas of the Black Forest.

Meeting Time

Please come to our ski school office either the day before your lesson or well in advance on the day of the lesson to collect your course card.

We meet at the ski school office, which is located right next to the bus stop "Feldberg-Hebelhof", 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

There is no lunchtime supervision for kids. Please pick up your children for the lunch break at 12 p.m. next to the ski school office.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Snowboarders with experience might need a ski pass. When you come to the office either the day before your lesson or well in advance on the day of the lesson to collect your course card, you will get more information about this.

Good to Know

• Snowboard equipment not included in the lessons

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• If the course does not reach the minimum quota (4 participants), the lesson will either be shortened or the kids and adults groups will be merged
