Ski Lessons for Teens (11-16 y.) for Beginners - Willingen

What to Expect

Our youth ski course in Willingen is aimed at anyone aged 11 to 16 who can already brake and turn safely and has skied on a blue run before. Groups are organised according to ability.

The course takes place on the Dorfwiese. Therefore, everyone must have a valid lift pass before the course begins – this is not included. You can buy your lift pass at the lift ticket office.

We’ll improve your skiing technique, practise safe parallel skiing and work on perfect posture. This will give you greater confidence and even more fun on the slopes. With our experienced ski instructors, you’ll make real progress!

Meeting Time

If you already have your equipment and lift pass, please report to the ski school 15 minutes before the course starts

If you haven’t collected your equipment yet, please arrive one hour before the course starts – we strongly recommend this, particularly during the school holidays.

Please bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation with you when you arrive.

We’ll meet at our ski school (Zur Hoppecke 5, 34508 Willingen, right next to the Ettelsberg cable car).

Equipment Rental

Save time with self-check-in! You can check in directly at one of the self-service terminals to the left of the office entrance or via the QR code available on site. Simply enter your name and confirm your booking using the last 5 digits of the phone number used for the booking. You can then view your course and print your equipment pick-up voucher. There’s no need to visit the ski school reception first, so you can save time and get started faster. With this slip, you can collect your equipment directly from the hire shop. Please collect your equipment in good time: either the day before or at the latest one hour before your course starts. Our opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. On days when floodlit skiing is available, the hire shop even stays open until 10 pm.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson. Kids with lessons in kinderland have to pay an entrance fee of €5 on site.

The 2-hour and 1-day ski passes can also be purchased at the school to avoid waiting times at the lift

Good to Know

• Please come to the ski school before the course starts for registration and show your CheckYeti booking code. At the check-in terminals you will receive a paper to pick up the equipment.

• Please note that the ski school temporarily stores participants’ personal data to organise the courses and rental equipment. On site, only names are displayed on a monitor so that you can quickly find your course. Contact details are not visible to third parties, and all data is deleted after the course ends or the equipment is returned.
