What to Expect

We welcome all winter sports enthusiasts from the age of 10 years old to our snowboarding lessons for kids and adults in Willingen. Whether it's your first time on the board or you already have a little experience, we'll make sure they have the best conditions at the snowboard course to progress quickly.

After assessing your skills, you will be placed in a suitable group by one of our DSV-certified snowboard instructors. In this way, you can quickly make your first progress or noticeably improve your technique in a family atmosphere. Beginners learn how to shift their weight correctly and how to stand on the edges. The correct posture also plays a big role and you also learn how to ride the lift. Already advanced boarders perfect their technique and ski more challenging slopes.

If the group wants more action, they can also learn tricks or go to the fun park. A big advantage is that the snowboard course takes place in a top location. You learn to snowboard directly at the Ettelsberg cable car in a safe and friendly atmosphere.

Meeting Time

We meet at our office situated Zur Hoppecke 5, D - 34508 Willingen, 45 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Please have your CheckYeti booking ID ready upon arrival at our ski school for a faster check-in. During holiday periods, please arrive 1 hour before your lesson starts.

Lunch Care

The lunch break lasts from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm. Lunch is not included in the course, so please prepare a lunch box. There is also no time to go to a restaurant during the lunch break.

Equipment Rental

If you booked including equipment, please pick it up in time. Either the day before or at least 1 hour before the course starts at our ski school (Zur Hoppecke 5, D - 34508 Willingen). Opening hours: Monday to Sunday, 8 am until 5pm. On days when floodlight skiing is available, the rental shop is open until 10 pm. Please note: All customers who booked through CheckYeti must check in at the ski school reception to collect their equipment voucher – even if they are not taking part in any lessons.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

The 2-hour and 1-day ski passes can also be purchased at the school to avoid waiting times at the lift

Good to Know

• Please come to the ski school before the course starts for registration and show your CheckYeti booking code. At the office you will receive a paper to pick up the equipment.
