Kids & Adults Snowboarding Lessons (from 10 y.) for First Timers - Willingen

What to Expect

Our snowboard course in Willingen is aimed at anyone aged 10 and over who wants to learn to snowboard from scratch or has very little experience.

The course takes place on the Dorfwiese. Therefore, every participant must have a valid lift pass before the course begins – this is not included in the course price and must be purchased independently at the lift ticket office.

On the course, you’ll learn the correct posture, how to brake safely and how to make your first turns on the board. With our experienced snowboard instructors, you’ll make rapid progress and have loads of fun!

Meeting Time

If you already have your equipment and lift pass, please report to the ski school reception 15 minutes before the course starts

If you haven’t collected your equipment yet, please arrive one hour before the course starts – we strongly recommend this, particularly during the school holidays.

Please bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation with you when you arrive.

We’ll meet at our ski school (Zur Hoppecke 5, 34508 Willingen, right next to the Ettelsberg cable car). The reception is on the right-hand side just past the entrance.

Lunch Care

The lunch break lasts from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm. Lunch is not included in the course, so please prepare a lunch box. There is also no time to go to a restaurant during the lunch break.

Equipment Rental

If you have booked including equipment, please have your booking confirmation to hand and present it at the counter of our ski school (Zur Hoppecke 5, D - 34508 Willingen). There, the ski school manager will give you a collection slip with a barcode. With this slip, you can collect your equipment directly from the hire shop without having to queue at the till again – saving you time and a detour. Please collect your equipment in good time: either the day before or at the latest one hour before your course starts. Our opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. On days when floodlit skiing is available, the hire shop even stays open until 10 pm.

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

The 2-hour and 1-day ski passes can also be purchased at the school to avoid waiting times at the lift

Good to Know

• Please come to the ski school before the course starts for registration and show your CheckYeti booking code. At the office you will receive a paper to pick up the equipment.
