This river section is ideal for adventurers and nature lovers. Paddling 24 km down the river will require a some physical exertion due to its length. You start from Vallon Pont d'Arc entering directly into the nature reserve. Explore the Gorge de l'Ardèche, one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe. In this preserved and protected area, you will experience exceptional fauna and flora - and if you are lucky, you may be able to see the majestic Bonelli Eagle! Alone, among family or friends, you will descend this section at your own pace coming across other canoe enthusiasts on the way.
Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our base in Vallon Pont d'Arc at the time indicated on your booking confirmation.
- Tour:
You pick up your equipment and after the briefing, you leave directly from the beach to our base. From there, you embark for a beautiful descent of 24 km, which will take you to the bottom of the canyon.
- Arrival:
For the return, we come to pick you up at the point of arrival (Sauze beach), and bring you back to our base (between 4 pm to 5 pm).
