Goal of the course Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive an internationally recognized and lifelong valid diving certification as a PADI Open Water Diver. With this, you can independently participate in diving activities with a buddy within the scope of the acquired knowledge and skills. Meeting & Preparation At best you come by our diving center already 1 or 2 days before the beginning of the course, so we can get to know each other and we can already take care of the bureaucracy. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the center or at the camping site parking lot. You will fill in the customer card, liability release and health statement and receive your PADI Open Water Manual, so you can prepare already some theory. Then you get to know your PADI instructor and get a briefing about the premises and the exact procedure of the course. Course content In this complete beginner course, you will learn the necessary diving theory in 5 modules with the help of books, DVDs and presentations by the instructor. This theoretical part ends with a final test. The practical training takes place in the sea - we complete 5 modules in the shallow area of our house bay with dives up to 5m in depth and 4 training dives in open water with dives up to 18m depth (for children only up to 12m). Dive Area Depending on the number of participants and the weather conditions on the day of the dive, we decide on the spot which island is best suited for our group. You can choose for example the island San Giovanni or the lighthouse and many more. We dive to a depth of 12 to 30 meters, where beginners, as well as advanced divers, can experience the magic of the sea up close. Look forward to exciting hidden caves, starfish, lobsters and swarms of colorful fish. Programme - Meeting & Preparation: We meet half an hour before the departure at our base. Parking is available outside the camping site, at 8 minute walking distance from the base. We will welcome you and introduce our team. Afterwards, you will receive a detailed safety briefing and have the opportunity to borrow equipment, which you can purchase on site for an extra charge. Afterwards, we go in the direction of our speedboat. Our boat is 12 meters long, has its own sun protected area and a capacity of up to 15 people. On the boat, we give you a briefing about the specific dive site and then you will go into the cool water. - Diving: Impressive bays, stone blocks, amazing underwater animals, interesting rock formations, underwater canyons, rock terraces and much more await you.
