FFESSM Level 1 Diving Course in Marseille for BeginnersWith our FFESSM Level 1 diving course in Marseille, take your first steps into the world of diving with us! Accessible from the age of 12, this course of 5 to 6 days will allow you to discover more about the world of scuba diving, and all this in the sublime scenery offered by the coast of Marseille. You will start with exercises at the bottom of the water: management of your breathing with the regulator, mask exercises, management of the stabilising jacket, and many other, which will allow you to reach 20 metres in complete safety. Our state-certified diving instructors will accompany you throughout the course to ensure that you are fully supported. The diving area will be chosen according to the weather conditions, but our favourite sites are in the Calanques National Park and especially around the Frioul archipelago. Thus, you will dive in turquoise blue water, and will be able to observe exceptional underwater fauna and flora, while perfecting your technique! The FFESSM Level 1 qualifies you to: - Dive to a maximum depth of 20 metres/65 feet - Dive with a scuba diving instructor by your sideProgramme - On-site theory lecture: The theoretical part of the training will take place on the dock or in the boat, before each dive. It will allow you to prepare for the next dive, but also to debrief on the dive that has just been done. - Kick-off: We meet 15 minutes before the booked time at our base in the old port of Marseille. If you come by car, there is paid parking nearby. Once you have arrived, you will meet our team who will give you your diving equipment. You will be able to leave your gear after you have changed. Each session takes place in the same way: we join the diving area by boat and you dive on site in groups of minimum 4 people. After about 3 hours at sea, we will return to the old port of Marseille. You can do one or two sessions per day, depending on your wishes and your time.
